Participating in premarital counseling is a great way to invest in your future marriage. This is a focused time as a couple to gain a better understanding of your relationship dynamics, while learning the skills to navigate any relational challenges you may face. The standard premarital package is 6hrs. Couples can choose to add on additional hours if needed.
In the state of Georgia, completing 6hrs of premarital counseling qualifies you to receive a $40 discount on your marriage license.

Traditional hourly marriage counseling can often benefit married couples looking to grow stronger in their connection, improve communication, and deepen their relationship. This format can also be appropriate for couples who are getting stuck in regular patterns of unresolved conflict. Typically booked in 1, 2, or 3 hour blocks.
All intake sessions are 2 hr minimum.
-
Marriage intensives are designed to support couples experiencing a relational crisis in the marriage. While marriage crisis’ can come in a variety of forms, it often involves a recently discovered/disclosed betrayal, whether emotional or physical. It could also be couples who feel like roommates or where one or both spouses have reached a point of “numbness” towards the marriage.
Marriage crisis situations often require more time and focus than traditional hourly or weekly counseling can provide.
We can discuss if a marriage intensive would be appropriate for your situation during a consultation call.

You’ve considered leaving the marriage or have doubts about the future of the marriage.
You feel stuck in long term conflict and aren’t able to find resolution.
You would describe your marriage as “living like roommates” or you feel “numb” towards your spouse.
You want to feel closer and more connected in your marriage.
You want to build a healthier, stronger relationship.
“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame…”
